As we age many of us have concerns regarding are health. Many dealing with long term diseases.
1. Heart disease https://www.heart.org
2. Diabetes https://diabetes.org
3. Kidney disease https://support.kidney.org
All the above diseases can be intertwined. So taking care of one problem may help or prevent another from occurring. All of the websites above can offer suggestions and give you more information. We also have information on the table in the parish hall.
We also have to prepare for possible changes in our every day life; will we be able to maintain our own homes, can we continue to drive, and am I able to make good decisions. All of our long term plans should be made before others have to make them for us.
1. Do you have a will?
2. Do you have a Living Will?
Do you know the difference?
3. Do you have a medical power of attorney?
4. Do you have a MOLST order? This is a doctors order to give EMS and gives them directions.
We should have all of the above excess able to EMS.
