From Cumberland

  • Take Rt. 40 from downtown Cumberland to the Narrows (Henderson or Centre Streets)
  • After passing through the Narrows, turn right to take Rt. 36 (Mount Savage Rd) toward Mount Savage.
  • Take Rt. 36/Mount Savage Rd, approximately 7 miles.
  • Go through town. Do not turn right over the bridge where you see the three church signs as it will lead you through narrow streets and probably confuse you into turning into the small disabled accessible lot (If you need directions so you can park in the accessible lot to take the chair lift to the parish hall or more easily access the ramp into our worship space, please follow the signs from the center of town.)
  • Turn right onto New School Rd, NW. (at Post Office)
  • Proceed up the hill to Mount Savage School , which will be about 0.8 miles.
  • Turn right onto Saint Georges Lane, NW, which intersects New School Road across from the Mount Savage School
  • Proceed down the hill and turn right into the main church parking lot.
  • The church entrance is through the breezeway between the main building and the bell tower. Enter via the glass doors (a handicapped ramp is there as well).
  • The parish hall entrance is up the steps on the left-hand side of the building.
  • Handicapped parking is next to the parish hall entrance.

From LaVale

  • Take Rt. 40 toward Cumberland to the Narrows where it intersects Rt. 36.
  • Turn left onto Rt. 36/Mount Savage Rd and proceed 7 miles to Mount Savage.
  • Go through town.   • Take Rt. 36 toward Mount Savage, which intersects Rt. 40 at the Frostburg Post Office
  • Wind down the hill approximately 4.1 miles.
  • Turn left onto New School Rd, NW (at Post Office) (If you need directions so you can park in the accessible lot to take the chair lift to the parish hall or more easily access the ramp into our worship space, please follow the signs from the center of town. You should continue through town and turn at the bridge across from the diner, rather than turn left at the post office.)
  • Proceed up the hill to Mount Savage School , which will be about 0.8 miles.
  • Turn right onto Saint Georges Lane, NW, which intersects New School Road across from the Mount Savage School
  • Proceed down the hill and turn right into the main church parking lot.
